Why it appears?
The reason for this disease doctors refer to the sexual relationships. Here are two reasons that are first of all the process of stealing itself because it is filled with pleasure and may raise the sexual excitement and the second one is the desire to have when unconscious sexual desire is realized in such form.
It is interesting to know that in the world psychiatric practice doctors started to recognize one more reason that is not connected with the sexual sphere that is resistance to authority. For example, the person thinks in the next way: "You are the boss, but I hate you. I'll revenge you." According to doctors this reason can be formed historically in the countries where the notion of property was suppressed for a long time.
There was the man who was visiting the same shop and was stealing the costumes, he was getting to the fitting room, put on the costume and then the costume in which he came, and then he went away. But shop assistants noticed that after his visits they couldn't make up their mind where the suits were. The kleptomaniac was keeping all his costumes (he stole 12 of them) at home that is why when he was caught the evidences were obvious. The man was swearing he was kleptomaniac nevertheless he was put to jail.
Another example is the teacher at school who was taking money of her colleagues. It was small money from coins to 5 dollars. But the thing that she was stealing money didn't give the possibility to recognize that she was really ill with kleptomania.
